We built a custom image optimization plugin using the Sharp Library to automatically resize any image to specific dimensions you set for any screen size for a particular image and this plugin will automatically crop the image to those dimensions, convert to AVIF and WEBP format with fallbacks, and compress each image automatcially at build. This means when you change any image images on the site, you don't have to optimize that new image and resize it - the plugin will do it automatically for you, and instantly. And it's a lot simpler to use than you might think!
