Have you ever been to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis? Not only are they a world-class of fun activities for children of all ages, they happen to have a miniature town of Madison on permanent display. Thanks to the Reuben Wells Steam Locomotive and it's historical value to Madison and the State of Indiana, its uniqueness specifically built in 1868 to push train cars up the steepest "standard-gauge main-track grade" in the United States, weighing 55 short tons, it was the most powerful locomotive in the world at the time. The locomotive is named after its designer, engineer Reuben Wells. Watch this video, visit the mini town at the museum and come visit the still very historic district of Madison, Indiana.
