On this week's Taste of Retirement, we're making a goat cheese bruschetta! Who doesn't love a good bruschetta, and what's better than that? Making it with goat cheese for an extra savory bite!
If you're looking for an easy recipe for snacks, then look no further than this easy goat cheese bruschetta recipe.
You'll need:
French bread loaf
Fresh basil
Fresh tomatoes
A log of goat cheese
Balsamic glaze
Olive Oil
That's all you need for this easy recipe, just six ingredients. So now, how to make goat cheese bruschetta. You'll cut your loaf along the bias and drizzle some olive oil over those pieces and pop them in the oven for around ten mins to get a nice crisp to them. While that's going on, you want to cut and dice your tomatoes, roll up the basil and chiffonade them - now this sounds intimidating but to chiffonade basil leaves, you'll stack them on top of one another and roll them into a tight cylinder and cut them. Then you take the goat cheese log and chop it up into the desired sizes.
Now, you'll take your bread and start by topping it with the goat cheese crumbles, then pile on the tomatoes and drizzle the balsamic glaze over top before sprinkling the basil on top. There you have it, that's how to make bruschetta at home and you can add this to your favorite easy recipes list.
