SOLIDWORKS MBD is a great tool to quickly capture Product Manufacturing Information and provide characteristics to inspection systems. SOLIDWORKS Inspection places those characteristics in forms to direct the needed measurements. Then we use Control X to marry scan data to the model-based definition.
