WHY TOURISTS DONT COME HERE..? Humpty Doo Low Cost Camp | 4WD Caravan Travel

Welcome back! This week we are adventuring in Humpty doo and Litchfield with our Next Gen Ford Ranger and Network RV. First stop is NT Darwin Base camp an awesome camp with some great features out of Humpty Doo, Luxury dog friendly pool, huge powered sites and cool outdoor wood fired showers.
Bryce takes advantage and gets some beef short ribs to cook up in the weber and slow cook, they come up an absolute treat!
Not far from camp is the Fogg Dam Conservation reserve with a couple of cool walks through rainforest and wetlands, a very picturesque drive looking over the dam and a great spot to explore.

Ben the camp owner lines us up in a Polaris ATV and gives us the quick rundown of the area to go and explore which is great fun checking out the billabongs and getting a different feel for the area!

Heading into Litchfield National Park we are staying at the Litchfield Safari Camp, the only dog friendly camp ground close to Litchfield. Were in the unpowered section and snagged the perfect site. First stop is Wangi Falls always a crowd favourite and perfect for a swim.

A day of adventuring is next when we head out on the Reynolds river 4x4 Track to the Blythe Homestead and then onto Sandy falls. On the way is a couple of huge water crossings at nearly 700mm deep a interesting drive through makes it challenging but worth it once you get to the falls for a swim!
