This 1997 Doppelmayr high-speed quad replaced a Yan high-speed quad called Redline. After the Quicksilver accident, Redline got a major overhaul with new Spacejet terminals, retaining the Yan masts. All but three towers were reused. There are 196 chairs and 33 towers. Length is 8130 ft. Estimated speed is 855 fpm.

In 2022, this lift got replaced with a Doppelmayr high-speed six, along with a new 10-person Creekside Gondola replacing the old 6-person gondola. The old Creekside got scrapped, and Big Red is now extra spare parts for Catskinner if needed.
Just a little bonus feature, the new Big Red 6 is also labeled “ Kwemkwim K’aýk” and “Tseqwtsíqwa Q̓ilq̓.” These are the Squamish and Lílwat translations respectively. For the new Creekside gondola, the Squamish and Lílwat translations respectively are "Ch’it ta Swá7elt" and "Sq̓útsa ti Tsaw̓ewéca."
