IJN Submarine I-400 1/350 Tamiya

Imperial Japanese Navy Submarine I-400 was considered an underwater aircraft carrier. She is capable of carrying three M6A Seiran seaplanes. She was built at Kure, Japan and became the largest submarine in the world until 1965. She was originally designed to attack faraway targets such as American West Coast or the Panama Canal. June 1945, she chose the target much closer to defend the Japanese Home Island. The Americans never knew of the existence of the I-400 submarines until their crews surrendered.
