We recently hosted our annual practical training for Rwandan veterinarians at the stunning Akagera National Park. This hands-on experience, led by Dr Markus Hofmeyr from the Wildlife Conservation Network, provided invaluable skills in wildlife immobilisation, health assessments, sample collection, and monitoring program setup.
With these trainings, we aim to strengthen veterinary services in Rwanda and create a network of skilled wildlife veterinarians dedicated to the health and conservation of our precious wildlife.
