Dr. Hsiang talks about Provenge Immunotherapy - is a personalized immunotherapy that activates the immune system to help fight advanced prostate cancer and has been proven to help certain men live longer. It works differently from other cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy or hormone therapy.
Teresa Gallagher from Sparrow Search is a patient-friendly search engine that allows patients to directly search for and match to clinical trials. Patients who match to clinical trials are connected with clinical research sites, thereby increasing the pool of potential study candidates and expediting the recruitment process.
