States like Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh are also under alert for thunderstorms and strong winds. Meanwhile, heavy snowfall and rain in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are disrupting daily life but are expected to benefit water resources and agriculture. While the rain may cause temporary inconvenience, it could bring partial relief from air pollution in the plains.

उत्तर भारत में अगले 24 घंटे मौसम के लिहाज से बेहद अहम रहने वाले हैं। सक्रिय पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के चलते दिल्ली-एनसीआर में झमाझम बारिश, तेज हवाएं और तापमान में तेज गिरावट दर्ज की जा रही है। बीते दिनों की असामान्य गर्मी के बाद ठंड ने एक बार फिर वापसी कर ली है। हरियाणा, पंजाब, राजस्थान और उत्तर प्रदेश के कई इलाकों में भी आंधी-तूफान और बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। वहीं पहाड़ी राज्यों जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड में भारी बर्फबारी से जनजीवन प्रभावित हुआ है, लेकिन यह बर्फबारी जल संसाधनों और खेती के लिए राहत लेकर आ सकती है। बारिश से प्रदूषण में भी आंशिक सुधार की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है।

उत्तर भारत में मौसम एक बार फिर करवट लेने जा रहा है। सक्रिय पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के कारण दिल्ली, यूपी, हरियाणा, पंजाब और राजस्थान में 22 से 25 जनवरी के बीच बारिश, तेज हवाएं और तापमान में गिरावट देखने को मिल सकती है। पहाड़ी राज्यों जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड में बारिश और बर्फबारी की संभावना है, जिसका असर मैदानी इलाकों में ठंडी हवाओं के रूप में महसूस होगा। बसंत पंचमी के दिन भी कई राज्यों में बादल और हल्की बारिश के आसार हैं। दिल्ली-एनसीआर में हल्की बारिश, गरज-चमक और तेज हवाओं के साथ ठंड एक बार फिर लौट सकती है। कुल मिलाकर जनवरी का आखिरी हफ्ता मौसम के लिहाज से उतार-चढ़ाव भरा और चौंकाने वाला रहने वाला है।
