Mario Party got it's roots on the Nintendo 64, receiving three games for the platform. Each one filled with game boards requiring all sorts of skill, luck, and strategy in a blend that makes the games some of the most entertaining multiplayer experiences to this day. But what completes the Mario Party experience are the mini games, pitting players against each other in a variety of wacky trials to earn coins for use in the boards. It's one of the greatest formulas in gaming, and with the imminent release of Mario Party Superstars, which features a ton of this trilogies' content, what better time to review what made these games so special in the first place?
