Pesaha Vyazham | Maundy Thursday Observances in Kerala

Pesaha Vyazham, also known as Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday, is a solemn day observed by Christians across Kerala to commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, this is the day Jesus shared his final Passover meal with his disciples, washed their feet as a symbol of humility, and instituted the Holy Eucharist. Churches across the state hold special evening services, re-enactments of the washing of feet, and prayers that reflect the spirit of devotion and reflection.
