Looking back at my first time fighting Electro Worm with Mage, I was woefully under-equipped and my strategy wasn't top-notch. Here I've made those improvements, cutting the time about in half despite having a few bad cycles where I could not get close to use Greater Poison Rain, which cut down on the amount of crits I was landing to recharge my Masterwork Lightning.
Regardless, here's the setup:
Level-Up Attributes:

Wand Expert (Lv2)
-Wand damage +25%
*Mana Shield (Lv5)
-30% chance incoming damage consumes Mana instead of HP
Master of Elements (Lv10)
-+25% increase in "Strong vs" Elemental damage (Earth vs Electro Worm)
Spell Crush (Lv15)
-When casting a Magic Spell, the next attack is a guaranteed Crit
Mana Thief (Lv20)
-Every hit has a 10% chance to restore Mana equal to 25% of damage dealt
Refreshment (Lv25)
-Increases all mana received by 30%
Blood Magic (Lv30)
-Every hit has a 10% chance to restore HP equal to 25% of damage dealt
