Pale Waves Live In Concert in Milwaukee at The Rave. 7/22/22

This was a surreal night for myself. I discovered the band Pale Waves during the pandemic time. They quickly became one of my favorite bands. They are out of the UK where they are quickly gaining popularity. They have had limited exposure here in the U.S. but I guarantee that is going to change very quickly. This is one of the best bands that you may not be listening to if you're not familiar to them. They have re-energized rock music and I was very fortunate they scheduled a one off date 17 miles from where I live as I would've (and still will) happily traveled halfway around the world to go see them. Not only did they play by my hometown, they played in a small intimate venue to less than 100 of us. The video you're going to see is a front row full concert. They are currently on tour with 5 Seconds of Summer playing to sold-out amphitheaters and they brought that same energy to a small nightclub venue to a handful of loyal fans. I need to mention that the fans that were in attendance at this intimate show were some of the nicest people that I have ever met in my life. There were two couples in particular they were truly genuine people. One couple drove 14 hours from Pennsylvania just for this show. I understand the dedication. The other couple who were standing right behind us were the kindest people.

Pale Waves music touches a lot of people as they are writing their songs with a mission statement as well as purpose. It means a lot to me that a band that is this up-and-coming would do a one off show and for that, I am grateful as it was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for a true fan like myself. My daughter came with to keep me company and left a huge fan. Hugo gave me his guitar pick at the end of the show that he used for their last song Jealousy!!! That may be one of my greatest pieces of rock memorabilia.
