This video is showing a demonstration of a reworked and improved Particle Effects Plugin to rm2k3 through the DynRPG Patch.
With this new version, I've been able to have as many as 24,000 particles on screen while still running at 60 fps ( on a core i5 cpu ). Again, youtube seem to really have butchered the quality of the video, so not everything is as clear to see as it should be.
