(29 Sep 1994) North Korean Vice President Lee Jong Ok continued his visit to
Beijing on Thursday, (29-9), holding meetings with Chinese
counterparts, including Chinese President Jiang Zhemin at the
Daiyoutai state guesthouse. In another development in the Far East, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Shen Guofeng warned Thursday that Taiwanese Vice President Hsu Li Teh's attendance at the Asian Games in Hiroshim will "cast a shadow over Sino-Japanese relations".
