In 2015, ICA said so long to our Sunghoon Mold and said hello to a state-of-the-art Hirsch Block Mold and Pre-Expander. This upgrade to our equipment will allow us to make high quality EPS blocks in adjustable sizes ranging from 37-1/2" - 54" x 49-1/2" x 121-1/2" - 220". The state-of-the-art Pre-Expander allows us to make high quality blocks ranging from .7 - 2.85 lbs per cubic foot (density). This video captures a 9-day installation in a 15-minute time-lapse. This was a proud accomplishment for our company - previously the quickest installation in Hirsch's history was 22 days!
