This week we're working at our Dayton, Ohio campus with Thomas Erdmann with Seiler Instrument and Calvin Rikard with Duncan-Parnell. Our goal? Identifying common failures with UAV mapping and how we can assist agencies with getting a true and accurate crime or crash scene depiction in court.
You may not know it, but scenes mapped with UAV photogrammetry may have significant error that could be an uncomfortable discovery on cross examination. We're wanting to make sure you aren't surprised and give you the tools you need to make sure your scenes are true and accurately reconstructed.
