Today’s homily is a recap of two lectures I gave on the weekend of September 26-28,
2025. It is followed by a Q&A. In this recap, I deal with the following topics: 1) God’s Real
Presence in nature; 2) God’s Real Presence in indigenous and classical cultures; 3) God’s
Real Presence in sacred writings and stories; 4) God’s Real Presence in science; 5) God’s
Real Presence in non-Eucharistic forms of Catholic theology; 6) God’s Real Presence in the
Eucharist; 7) and finally, my own thinking and metaphors for God’s Real Presence.
