Cancer patients to benefit from new diagnostic device at NTUH

Today National Taiwan University Hospital introduced a new device that combines positron emission tomography with the nuclear magnetic resonance technology used in MRIs. This cutting-edge tool will assist doctors in making cancer diagnoses and deciding on treatments. Traditional NMR technology to track cancer cells in organs and PET to explore the possibility of metastasis are both part of this device.
