La Panthère de Ceylan | Sri Lanka Wild Encounter

We crossed the mountains of Ceylon the way you walk through a dream: in silence, in thin rain, in the slow breath of drifting clouds. Between tea plantations, lost temples and men searching for light in the stones, the world whispered to us.
And at the end of the road remained the fragile hope of meeting the mythical and extremely rare Ceylon leopard — a spotted ghost slipping through the jungle like a wild thought. You don’t truly search for an animal like this; you wait, humbly, and let time do its work.

Nous avons traversé les montagnes de Ceylan comme on traverse un rêve : dans le silence, la pluie fine et la lenteur des nuages. Entre les plantations de thé, les temples perdus et les hommes qui cherchent la lumière dans les pierres, le monde s’est mis à chuchoter.
Au bout du chemin, il restait l’espoir ténu de croiser la panthère de Ceylan, ce fantôme tacheté qui glisse dans la jungle comme une pensée sauvage. On ne guette jamais vraiment un animal pareil : on l’attend, humblement, en laissant le temps faire son œuvre.
