From small-town Virginia 🇺🇸 to Nairobi, this journey has been long, emotional, and deeply rewarding.

After a few days in Nairobi to recover from jet lag, I traveled upcountry by Easy Coach bus from Nairobi to Nyabohanse near the Kenya–Tanzania border to surprise my mom ❤️.

This vlog shows real life in Kenya—how everyday people travel long distances, the culture of public transport, and the emotional power of returning home.

This is more than a trip.
It’s a story of family, resilience, and reconnecting with my heritage.
