Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon - April 8, 2025

I had no idea really what to expect going to see this show. I've known about Sailor Moon for years, tried to watch it on occasion, but never really got into it, nor did I put much effort into sticking it out to watch much of it. My younger brother is a huge fan of Sailor Moon, and when he asked if I wanted to go to see them perform a version of the story live in St. Louis at the Fox Theatre, I was surprised. But in a good way, because I always have an interest in things that become popular, but it was also a chance to chill out in St. Louis and see what I was reading online to be a fantastic show.

It really was amazing and so well done. It made me wish I had known more about the fandom, the stories and the characters specifically, so I knew more about what I was watching unfold on the stage, but honestly, I was hooked. HOOKED.

The footage I recorded is a compilation of various short clips of the Fox Theatre, the crowd, and then a segment from the end of the show which the audience was given permission to be able to film. I'm glad I got a few moments recorded, because it was a lot of fun. The enthusiasm and community I saw on display from the Sailor Moon fans made me feel really happy.
