Entering South Africa's Most Notorious Township!🇿🇦 (Alexa)

Locals, friends, even taxi drivers told me: “Don’t go to Alexandra.”
This township in Johannesburg—called “Alex” by everyone—has one of the toughest reputations in South Africa. There’s crime, poverty, and a long history of struggle. Most people avoid it. But I wanted to see what it’s really like. Not through headlines or gossip—but by going there myself and meeting the people who live there.
In this video, I walk through the center of Alexandra. It’s one of the oldest and most crowded areas in the country. It was created in 1912 and has gone through apartheid, gang violence, and years of being ignored by the government. Even today, it’s still fighting to be seen and heard.

This isn’t a tourist place. It’s raw, real, and full of stories you won’t find on TV.
