'Another' XP PC Build! (Just Not the One I Planned...)

Another Windows XP retro pc build! I already built one on the channel a few years ago, and was itching to try some new hardware this time around. I WANTED to go with an older single core Athlon XP or Pentium, AGP graphics and IDE hard drive for a little variety but NOOO....I have dead boards and/or bad cpus, or iffy ram sticks...or even missing cpu cooler retaining brackets.

So like most video plans i have set...I had to make a few changes and opted to build a much much more powerful XP machine from same era as my original one. But where that old one was more along the line of parts I 'could've' afforded back then (with a couple luxuries)...This power house was made with parts that in no way shape or form could I have gotten. And WOW does this thing cook! Literally ..the inside of the case gets toasty!!!

Since my last XP build, I've gotten some more parts from various e-waste runs and pc teardowns so lets see what all i built with those parts!

This build was inspired by LGR's XP build video. Not the entirety of the video plan, but the parts i used for the PC I ended up with. I didn't seek these parts out, or try to use the same ones (I actually tried going out of my way in some cases to avoid using them) but these parts were ones i came across out hunting for retro pc parts....regardless I gotta give credit where due...
