Rhône Gorge | Weekends in SWITZERLAND | Part 3

We met up in July to run one of the most iconic rivers of the Alps, the Rhône. It's upper sections are steep and committing. This day we didn't run the upmost section due to apparently many portages and trees...we ran the 2 sections lower at low water levels. The gorge itself was stunning and the rock formations mindblowing, we want to go back with higher water! Despite low water conditions, the rapids and whitewater were still great, technical and lots of fun. This river is highly recommended!
