In the second part of our Bikaner series, we cover Junagarh Fort.
Fort built first by Raja Rai Singh in 1594 and later extended by his successors for 11 generations, it has a lot of historical palaces and artifacts in it. Beautiful artwork on walls and roofs, pure gold work at many places, a variety of weapons and artifacts have been displayed in this fort. You really travel a few centuries back in time while visiting this fort.
Later we go to Camel Research Centre, which is the only sun institute on camels in India. There we explore a variety of things related to camel and products made from camel milk.
