Husband and Wife Stories about Life on the Scientology Ship Freewinds

Mark Fisher and Janis Gillham Grady are joined for an interview with husband and wife team - Scott and Karry Campbell. This is Part 2 of our series on the Freewinds - Scientology's ship.

Karry Campbell is a 2nd generation former Scientologist and Sea Organization member who signed her billion year contract at age 16 because her mother joined. She eventually was sent to the Freewinds at age 17 and became the Chief Steward for all the crew on the ship, handling crew dining, accomadations and laundry.

Scott Campbell worked in the Engine room as an Engineer.

They decided to get married after only 2 days of knowing each other, and are still together after 37 years.

They left the Sea Organization in 1993.
