Good morning from Val d’Isère and happy Christmas Eve.
Jessie brings you today’s weather update and local resort news, with a look at how conditions are shaping up around the village and on Bellevarde.
Up on Bellevarde, it stays colder and more exposed, with stronger winds, reduced visibility at times, and temperatures closer to minus two degrees Celsius.
It’s a big festive day in Val d’Isère, with Père Noël appearing on the pistes this morning, children’s Christmas face painting this afternoon, and the main Christmas parade and arrival of Father Christmas in the village centre this evening. Expect plenty of atmosphere, hot drinks, and a real holiday buzz.
