Compilation of footage I shot on a vintage 1982 Ikegami ITC-730A. This footage was compiled between 2015-2017, recorded to DV by a Sony Digital8 Video Walkman.
The ITC-730 was Ikegami's industrial grade video camera, which replaced the ITC-350. It found a niche in industrial/educational markets, but was also used in some news markets as a budget camera. It came in two variations; the "A" model, which had HB8399 Saticon II pickup tubes, or the "AP" variant, with S4083 Plumbicons. The -730 itself was later replaced by the ITC-735. Accordingly, the bright orange camera body was Ikegami's response to JVC's bright orange Ky-1900/2000 industrial cameras.
