Let’s get straight to it: visually, Unity is still stunning. Ubisoft’s recreation of Revolutionary Paris remains one of the most beautiful cityscapes ever built in gaming. The lighting, the crowd density, and the architecture of Notre-Dame all still impress even ten years later. Honestly, it’s wild how good it still looks.

But here’s the problem — performance is still a huge issue on PS4 Slim. The game runs at 1080p with an unstable frame rate that hovers between 25–30 FPS, dipping into the mid-20s during heavy crowd scenes. It feels sluggish, and frame pacing issues make everything look stuttery. After trying it again, I can confirm: this version still struggles.
