"Sunset (Marques Houston Cover)" by Manny X

Sunset is a song originally performed by Marques Houston. When I first heard this song I was moved by its simplicity, its lyrics and its peaceful melody. But it wasn't until recent events in my personal life that I was inspired to recreate this song as an acoustic cover. I know the song is dated, but to me.....its about the connections we make to music whether its modern or old. I LOVE this song because of what it means to me and the aspects of my life that I choose to relate it to. I used a Ukulele, Finger Snaps, an EP rhodes via a Nord Electro 3, Shaker, Cajon Drum, Vocals and a very special instrument called a "Melodica" by Hohner...stick around until the end to watch the Melodica in action. :)
