PLAY EXPO BLACKPOOL 2025 – A Retro Gaming Blast at the Norbreck Castle! 🕹️

Another fantastic day out at Play Expo Blackpool 2025, held at the legendary Norbreck Castle! I spent the day surrounded by all things retro — from the Commodore and Amiga classics to arcade cabinets, pinball machines, and indie homebrew gems.

It was brilliant catching up with Jim Bagley, Kim Justice, and the fantastic RJ Mical during his panel talk — and of course, spotting Jeff Minter of Llamasoft fame was a total highlight. 🐑💥

Went along with my brother, Josh (my son), and James (my nephew) — and we managed to cram in a whole day of gaming, chatting, and a few too many shots later on 🍻 (thankfully, my phone battery died before things got too silly 😅).

Big shoutout to subscribers Mr London Go and Swanh8ter for saying hi — great to finally meet you both in person!

If you’re into retro gaming, this event is always worth it — the atmosphere, the nostalgia, and the people make it something special every year.
