We see the BKX families again at EICMA. Now they open up to different options. On one side, there are the Benelli BKX 125 S and BKX 300 S, naked suggestions for urban use or winding road pleasure. Elegant lines, a sharp tail and an aggressive front end with raised exhaust and side guards with a certain super engine effect.
At every step, we find the different features of the liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that is Euro 5+ compliant. First, the 125 cc single cylinder, which declares 12 Nm at 7500 rpm and 15 hp at 9500 rpm for users with an A1 driving license and a 3-year vehicle driving license. The 'three hundred', on the other hand, offers almost 30 hp at 9000 rpm and 24.5 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm, which would be the best option for users with an A2 license.
It is interesting to note that the BKX 125 S has a steel tube frame, but in the BKX 300 S the tubular body is combined with a double underskid. It is supported by a 41 mm inverted fork at the front, both adjustable in terms of preload, compression and rebound, and a rear monoshock adjustable in terms of preload and rebound. It is fitted with 17" alloy wheels.
There are also differences in the brakes. The BKX 300 S has a front brake system with 300 mm discs, while the 125 remains with 280 mm discs. Other details provided include the seat height of 795 mm, the 12-litre tank or the LCD screen, to name just a few.
The same basics mentioned above apply to the Benelli BKX 125 and Benelli BKX 300 models, which in this case are designed for trail types and those who want to enter the world of adventure.
In addition to everything mentioned, we can add to these recommendations that they differ in the suspension, with 180 mm of travel, 19" wheels (with different widths in each displacement) and brakes adapted to their performance (280 and 240 mm respectively). ), but we find radial anchor clamps on both, the seat height is 830 mm, and the weight varies between 148 and 155 kg.
