I started my day from outside my hostel at 1:00 PM with just one glass of milk and explored Barcelona like a local — from the busy lanes of La Rambla to the colourful stalls of Mercado de La Boqueria, a quick FC Barcelona stop at Camp Nou, delicious street food in the Gothic Quarter, and a beautiful sunset at Bunkers del Carmel before ending the day at Barceloneta Beach.

Bunkers del Carmel: beautiful views but check local rules — it can close early; police sometimes clear the area.
