Let's make Prada's $3,500 tote bag at home — for under $100! This bag making tutorial is inspired by the Prada Symbole tote. The finished bag measures 15" W x 12" H x 4" D.

The total cost of materials comes out to approximately $92 — less than 3% the cost of the inspiration bag. The original designer bag is made with Prada's Symbole triangle jacquard canvas with leather accents. My version uses Simply Classic's Geometric Triangles Faux Leather, which you can find here: https://www.simplyclassic.net/product...

Stitched on my Consew 206RB-5 and my TechSew 2750 cylinder arm machine. If you are not using an industrial sewing machine, I recommend some modifications:
Flat handles instead of rolled handles
Use a lighter stabilizer in the main part of the bag
Stitch the sides with right sides together instead of wrong sides together, then turn the bag
