Back in January 2025, Kawasaki shocked the dirt bike world with a teaser video that simply said: “We heard you.” They confirmed a brand-new two-stroke dirt bike is in development — but since then, we’ve heard nothing. No model name, no specs, no release date. Total silence.

So what’s really going on? Will Kawasaki finally bring back the KX250 2-stroke? Could we see a revived KDX trail bike? Or maybe something completely new, like a KX300 to compete with KTM and Beta?
