Outer Beauty, Inner Mystery by Morgan Fisher (1988)

When Morgan Fisher left the Glimmerlight, he travelled to the British Isles. Then, in an effort to immerse himself in the human experience, and using the power of his Blue Crystal he travelled a decade prior and joined Mott The Hoople. While that experience was profound, Fisher found himself longing for and missing his Sagegazer brethren, and the soft synth sounds of the Glimmerlight, so he travelled back to the mid-80s. There, he found Roy Whenary and joined his Dawn Awakening collective. And so it came to pass that in 1988, Fisher recorded one of the greatest of all the Sagegazer tapes to emanate from the Patchoulilight: Outer Beauty, Inner Mystery. So mesmerizing was this cassette that it became heavily sought out on the Offworld Colony. It is known that across the galaxy Roedelius was particularly enamored with Outer Beauty, Inner Mystery. Roedelius was so in love with this tape that he was inspired to leave the Offworld Colony to find Fisher. This was difficult because at this point Fisher and the other Sagegazers had undertaken the Third Migration to flee the Progbarians. But Roedelius would not be denied. After he found Fisher, they recorded 2005's Neverless CD, a post-Patchoulilight classic.
