Signs they’re leading you on are also signs of breadcrumbing. Narcissists are expert breadcrumbers. Narcissists give you false hope through breadcrumbing. What does it mean to breadcrumb? Are they playing me and why won’t he commit to plans? Narcissists give you false hope through narcissist breadcrumbing. Signs of breadcrumbing are the other person never committing to plans, or committing and then never following through. Either way, you never get what you are looking for and you are strung along by the other person. False hope through breadcrumbing keeps you looking for more with the person. You think it could happen based on what they are saying, and you believe them while being strung along. Narcissist breadcrumbing is another way in which they control and manipulate you. Why won’t he commit to plans? Because to commit to plans means you two will move forward in the relationship and commitment. Someone who breadcrumbs isn’t looking to move forward in the relationship. They just want to keep you around so they can use you to inflate their narcissistic supply. What does breadcrumbing me specifically?
