Scarlett Johansson 2 Kids: Rose and Cosmo

Scarlett Johansson may be Black Widow on screen, but at home, she’s simply “Mom” to her two children – Rose and Cosmo.
Rose Dorothy, born in 2014, is Scarlett’s first child with ex-husband Romain Dauriac. Named after Scarlett’s grandmother and the flowers of her birth season, Rose has grown into a sweet and very girly 10-year-old. She loves shadowing her mom everywhere – sometimes even waiting outside the bathroom door – and she’s quick to remind people that her mommy is a superhero, even if she refuses to watch the Avengers movies because they’re “too violent.” These days, Rose is also at the age where she finds Scarlett a little embarrassing – especially when her mom does silly dances at the school bus stop. Naturally, Scarlett leans into it and dances even bigger.
Cosmo, born in 2021, is Scarlett’s son with her husband Colin Jost. His floral name matches his sister’s, and while Rose approved of it, Colin’s mom needed a little time to warm up to “Cosmo.” Now four years old, Cosmo has already charmed Hollywood. When Scarlett brought him on the set of Asteroid City, the cast and crew were more excited to see the baby than the Oscar-nominated actress. Outside of movie sets, Cosmo has taken to swimming – and Colin proudly brags that his little guy is already close to swimming on his own.
Together, Rose and Cosmo bring out Scarlett’s funniest, most down-to-earth side. Whether it’s a superhero dance at the bus stop or a toddler who steals the spotlight from his famous mom, they keep her world real – and filled with love.
