CM Revanth Reddy Urges Hyderabad Residents & People’s Representatives to Support Musi Rejuvenation

Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy has urged all residents of Hyderabad to actively cooperate in the Musi Rejuvanation (MUSI Riverfront), a project undertaken by the government to protect the city from extreme climate changes and future disasters.

🔹 The Amberpet Bathukammakunta, rescued from encroachments after nearly four decades and beautifully landscaped, was inaugurated and dedicated to the people by the Chief Minister during the Bathukamma festival. The Chief Minister released Bathukamma into the waters of the Kunta, performed aarti to Mother Gangamma, and conducted pujas.

🔹 Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said, “The dream of reviving Bathukammakunta in 100 days will be realized only with the cooperation of public representatives and local residents. With your support, I can continue to serve as a leader.”

🔹 The Chief Minister emphasized that the government will protect the interests of the poor, including those who have migrated to the city and are living in huts along the Musi riverbanks. “No injustice will be done to them. Permanent housing will be provided to all who are losing their homes. This government stands by the people,” he added.

🔹 The Chief Minister stressed that development should be free from politics, pointing out that rehabilitation and revival of the Musi River require cooperation from all local MLAs, including those who are not from the area. He also called for enumeration of houses in the Musi catchment area in Amberpet to ensure proper rehabilitation for the affected residents.

🔹 He further stated that authorities should prepare proposals to name Bathukammakunta after senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao, who has long worked to protect the waterbody. Once the proposals are ready, a mini secretariat will be constructed in the constituency by consolidating various government offices. All necessary permissions and funds are expected to be sanctioned by December 9.

🔹 The program was attended by Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Jupally Krishna Rao, Dhanasari Anasuya Seethakka, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, Mayor Gadwala Vijayalakshmi, other public representatives, Hydraa Commissioner Ranganath, and senior officials. On the occasion, the Chief Minister unveiled a song composed by Hydraa.

వాతావరణంలో వస్తున్న విపరీత మార్పులు, భవిష్యత్తు విపత్తులను తట్టుకునేలా హైదరాబాద్ పరిరక్షణలో భాగంగా ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవం కోసం నగర వాసులందరూ సహకరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

🌼దాదాపు నాలుగు దశాబ్దాల తర్వాత కబ్జాల నుంచి రక్షించి సర్వాంగ సుందరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దబడిన అంబర్ పేట బతుకమ్మకుంటను బతుకమ్మ పండుగ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ప్రారంభించి ప్రజలకు అంకితం చేశారు. బతుకమ్మకుంట నీటిలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు బతుకమ్మను వదిలి గంగమ్మ తల్లికి హారతి ఇచ్చి పూజలు చేశారు.

🌼ఈ వేడుక సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సభలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, "ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, స్థానికులు అందరూ సహకరిస్తేనే వంద రోజుల్లో బతుకమ్మ కుంట పునరుద్దరణ కల నిజమైంది. మీరంతా సహకరిస్తేనే ఒక నాయకుడిగా నేను ముందుకు వెళ్లగలను.

🌼బతుకు తెరువు కోసం నగరానికి వలసవచ్చిన నిరుపేదలు మూసీ ఒడ్డున గుడిసెలు వేసుకుని ఉంటున్నారు. నిరుపేదలకు ఈ ప్రభుత్వం అన్యాయం చేయదు. వారందరికీ ప్రభుత్వం శాశ్వత నివాసం ఏర్పాటు చేస్తుంది. ఈ ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం పేదలకు అండగా నిలబడుతుంది.

🌼వాతావరణంలో వస్తున్న మార్పులు, రాబోయే ప్రమాదాలపై నిపుణులతో ఆలోచనలు చేసి హైడ్రాను ప్రారంభించాం. హైడ్రాను ప్రారంభించినప్పుడు చాలా మంది చాలా రకాలుగా మాట్లాడారు. కొంతమందికి అర్థం కాలేదు. మరికొందరు తమ కబ్జాలు ఇక సాగవని రకరకాల ఎత్తుగడలు వేశారు.

🌼నదులు, నాలాలు, చెరువులను చెరబడితే తాట తీయాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నాం. మూసీ నదిని పునరుద్దరించడమే లక్ష్యంగా ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తుంది. స్థానిక శాసనసభ్యులు కాలేరు వెంకటేష్ గారు ముందుకొచ్చి సహకరించారు. అభివృద్ధి పనుల్లో రాజకీయాలు అవసరం లేదు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరానికి చెందిన మిగతా నియోజకవర్గ శాసనసభ్యులు కూడా అభివృద్ధిలో కలిసి రావాలి.

🌼అంబర్ పేట నియోజకవర్గ పరిధిలో మూసీ 5 కి.మీ మేరకు విస్తరించిన మూసీ పరివాహక ప్రాంతంలో నిరుపేదల ఇళ్ల విషయంలో మంత్రి గారు, కలెక్టర్ గారు ఎన్యుమరేషన్ చేస్తే వారికి అవసరమైన పునరావాసం కల్పిస్తాం.

🌼బతుకమ్మకుంటను కాపాడాలని ఎన్నో ఏళ్ల నుంచి పోరాడుతున్న సీనియర్ నాయకుడు వీ. హనుమంత రావు గారి పేరును బతుకమ్మకుంటకు నామకరణం చేయడానికి అధికారులు అవసరమైన ప్రతిపాదనలు సిద్ధం చేయాలి.

🌼సరైన ప్రతిపాదనలు రూపొందిస్తే నియోజకవర్గంలో వివిధ ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలన్నీ కలిపి ఒకచోట మినీ సెక్రటేరియట్ ను నిర్మిస్తాం. వచ్చే డిసెంబర్ 9 తేదీ లో అందుకు అన్ని అనుమతులు, నిధులు కూడా మంజూరు చేస్తాం" అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు చెప్పారు.

🌼ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు, జూపల్లి కృష్ణారావు గారు, ధనసరి అనసూయ సీతక్క గారు, ఎంపీ అనిల్ కుమార్ యాదవ్ గారు, మేయర్ గద్వాల విజయలక్ష్మి గారు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, హైడ్రా కమిషనర్ రంగనాథ్ గారితో పాటు అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా హైడ్రా రూపొందించిన పాటను ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఆవిష్కరించారు.
