Wheat stitch hat
Materials
yarn
hook 2.5, 3.5mm hook
Pair of Scissors
stitch markers
Ribbing
With 2.5mm hook, chain 20- 30+1 chains.
Row1.On each chain work single crochet
Row 2. chain 1, on back loop only work single crochet.
Row 3 to last low, repeat row 2.
join with slip stitches
Round 1 with 3.5mm hook slip stitch on each row.
Round 2 and 3, single crochet on the back loop only.
Round 4 skip first stitch, make single crochet on the next stitch. On the skipped stitch, yarn over insert the hook, pull up the loop to have 3 loops on the hook, yarn over insert the hook pull the loop to have 5 loops on hook. Pull through the first 4 loops then the last two loops to complete the stitch.....repeat.
End of round 4 join with a slip stitch. chain 3 and turn your work.
Round 5, skip one stitch repeat round 4.
Round 6 repeat round 2&3.
