Today marks the 3 year anniversary of this channel.
Wow what a road of adventures its been.
To celebrate i head out to do some evening night fishing to see what kind can get into.
Using blue crabs as bait and then dead shrimp.
Started slow....then my buddy hooked up with a heavy thick Redfish and a new P.B. for him.
then darkness came and with it we could here the drum under the boat drumming.
With only 2 crabs left....my line starts to go....this isn't no catfish I tell myself.
I flip the bail and slowly pull up...its on...the reel starts screaming.
A massive 42" bull Redfish that breaks and bends the net just getting it in the boat.
I then start to use shrimp, with that came alot of catfish....but then the rod doubles over and this one feels even bigger.
During a long run the line goes slack like its coming at me....I reel as fast as I can...still feeling some weight I assume its coming at me.
Then we see a 12"catfish skipping across the top as I pull in this little catfish.....I still have no idea what or how.
What do you think could have happened?
