Working along on this repaint and time to prepare some chalky surfaces and a chat about EB Emulsa-bond and how I use it. It's a water-based bonding primer that is mixed in with the first coat of paint at approx 10% EB to 90% paint. You must apply a second coat over it. I use it sparingly and always hand wash chalky surfaces first, if I'm still uncertain I will add some EB. Please don't expect it to perform over unwashed chalky surfaces, you are just asking for trouble.
