Eyes on Bulkheads/Bufords (No Glue)

I have always had a love/hate relationship with eyes on my flies! They are perhaps the most realistic part of a pattern and certainly instill an extra boost of confidence in an angler, yet they come with a price. For me, the biggest drawback is their distortion to the finished flies silhouette, and Silhouette is everything! In fact, over the years I have put such emphasis on silhouette that I haven't put eyes on a finished fly in 2-3 years, preferring instead to fish blunt faced flies sculpted out of Bucktail butt ends and Strung Fuzzy Fiber. This however, changes everything. The new Posted Dome Eyes from Hareline friction fit perfecting with Junction Tubing (hook holder tubing for tube flies), and allow the user to create flexible weightless Dumbbell eyes that are simple to tie in place, pack around, and sculp perfectly silhouetted flies, WITH EYES.
