Need a last-minute build to take your home haunt to the next level? This DIY fog chiller uses a simple kitty litter pail and a few supplies you probably already have on hand. The result: low-lying, creepy fog that looks like you bought the pro gear — without the pro price.

Whether you’re setting up a haunted yard, a Halloween party, or just want to impress trick-or-treaters, this build is quick, cheap, and super effective.

Supplies List
Litter pail of 5 gallon bucket
2ft of 2” PVC
1 - 2” 90 degree PVC elbow
2 - 2” PVC coupler
Optional PVC screw top adapter
3.5ft of 1/2” PVC
4 - 1/2” 90 degree PVC elbows
1 - 1/2” 4-way PVC connector
Square fencing (enough to cover top of pail)
Spray paint
