The Tinnitus Inverter is noise masking with a notched sweeping frequency is used rather than a boost in many of the noise masking series.
This notch ranges from 8500 Hz (8.5 kHz) up to 11000 Hz (11 kHz) sweeping up an back over a 40 second cycle. The first version is at 6000 Hz to 8500 Hz with a sweep period of 15 seconds:    • Tinnitus Inverter Sweeping Static 6000 Hz ...   By request, version 2 offers this higher frequency range at a slower pace.
Notched frequencies, meaning a dip in the frequency at a specific point, work best when the listener knows the pitch of the tinnitus to be reduced. An audiologist is a great way to find out the frequency, or multiple frequencies. The sweeping notch is used here in the hopes that it may help listeners with "T" frequencies within the 8500 Hz to 110000 Hz range kHz range.
