How to Install an Electric Dryer | Hook Up 4 Prong Cord to GE Stacked Laundry Centers

From the tag on the back of the dryer, we followed the directions of how to install an electric dryer power cord. We recently purchased a GE stacked laundry center that runs on 240v 30amp power.

In this video we also needed to purchase a strain relief clamp:

To make the connection, we had to add the 6 foot 4-prong electric cord that we had to buy separately to supply power to the washer dryer combo unit.

The most difficult part of this install was getting hands and tools into such a tight space. They did not leave much space to work in. But with a little patience, the task was doable. if nothing else, this video show the process that will need to be undertaken to get the GE laundry center ready to be plugged in.
