Howdy folks! Welcome to the farm! Thank you for stopping by our channel today. We sure appreciate it much! Come along with us today as we cut our "test plot" hay for the first cutting of 2024. The wet weather pattern we have been stuck in all spring and early summer has really set our plans for cutting dates back, resulting in past-prime, stemmy first cutting hay, but the upside is yields should go up! We finally caught a week-long break in the rainy weather and cut our main hay field along with our test-plot of hay. This video is footage of the test plot cutting.
