NS train 112 lead by a Southern High Hood SD40-2 races west between Hoffman and Bartelso, IL in 1985 with a pair of NS (ex-SOU) GP50's trailing. At this point, it was increasingly rare to see solid lashups of Southern power as N&W and NS power was usually included in the mix.
